You may have heard that the UK’s telephone network is being upgraded, which means landline services are changing. People can still have a landline in their homes, but the technology that powers it will be different.

Whilst people need to contact their telephone provider for more information on when this change will affect them, our aim is to provide some clarity on what is happening and why.

Read this information sheet to understand how you may be affected and the steps you may need to take to be prepared.
