Early years childcare

Eligible working parents whose children will be aged between 9 to 23 months on 31 August can now apply for 15 hours/week of funded childcare support, which will start from 1 September 2024.

Don't forget to check with your childcare provider that this is something they are offering, as not all providers are.

Applications will need to be made via the GOV.UK website. Once your application is approved, a code will be sent to you, which you will then need to share with your childcare provider.

Please note that these codes need to be renewed every three months, so if you apply in May, you’ll need to make sure you renew your code before the offer starting in September.
