Recruiting new volunteers for their Bereavement Support Teams
Sobell & Katharine House Hospices are part of the NHS, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and their Bereavement Services are seeking your support.
The demand for bereavement support continues to grow, and both Sobell House Hospice and Katharine House Hospice provide
vital support to bereaved individuals within local communities, at the hospices, and in clients' own homes. To help meet this increasing need, they are seeking compassionate volunteers from across the communities they serve.
They are currently recruiting Volunteer Bereavement Support Workers, with applications open from October 2026 to February 2027.
Successful applicants will take part in our recruitment process and, if appointed, will receive comprehensive training, regular supervision, and ongoing support from their experienced Bereavement Teams.
