Flooding awareness campaign

West Oxfordshire District Council is encouraging residents to get ready for possible flooding as the wetter months approach.

Executive Member for the Environment, Cllr Lidia Arciszewska, said the Council is acting early to help people prepare from clearing ditches and key drainage points to sharing practical advice so residents can plan ahead.

A flooding awareness campaign will run throughout winter, offering clear and timely advice, and residents are urged to report any flooding incidents to help improve future responses.
