Council sets ambitious plans to manage growth effectively - get ready to have your say

Public consultation launches Monday 3rd November

West Oxfordshire District Council is moving forward with its new Local Plan, which will shape where new homes, jobs and infrastructure go across the district.

Our public consultation will launch on Monday and we're inviting residents, businesses and community groups to share their views on possible locations for growth and key planning priorities. Your feedback will help inform the final draft plan which will be submitted in 2026.

The plan aims to deliver affordable homes, local jobs and sustainable development supported by the right infrastructure from the outset.

Consultation runs from 3 November to 22 December 2025, so please make sure you have your say. There will also be a number of in person engagement events. Look out for details on those on our website and social media channels from Monday.
