A year of progress - delivering the right homes for local people

Helping families, first-time buyers and residents with additional needs to stay close to their communities

Over the past year, West Oxfordshire District Council has made strong progress in delivering more affordable, high-quality homes for local people.

Working with housing partners and developers, the Council has supported a wide range of new homes – from social rent to shared ownership – built to high environmental standards and designed to meet local needs. With house prices remaining well above the national average and demand for affordable housing high, this work remains a top priority.

Recent developments across the district are helping families, first-time buyers and residents with additional needs to stay close to their communities.
