Bartholomew Close sculpture, Chalcroft Park sensory garden & more to come

The wooden art structure at Bartholomew Close Park is finished. Cotswold artist, Natasha Houseago, has been working on site since July, and enjoyed having many visitors and discussing her work.

The sensory garden has started on Chalcroft Park. This will have a poem given by Pam Ayres engraved in the stone paving, surrounded by plants and trees and places to sit and enjoy.

The mosaic planters are now at the entrances to the villages, so thank you to Sarah Varnom and volunteers for creating these lovely planters.

There is more artwork coming in the new year will be at the beacon and at the entrance to Fritillary Field, both designed by Oxfordshire artist, Christopher Townsend.

The funds used for the art trail were given by s106 monies, designated for art, to Ducklington Parish council. The whole trail will be launched in spring/early summer 2026, so watch this space.
