Oxfordshire decides on 1 May

Use your vote to decide who you want to represent you.

It's important because when you vote, you're having an impact on the things that affect your communities and those around you.

The people you vote for will be making decisions about where the money is spent – as an example, road and highway development and maintenance, social care support, and community health and wellbeing are all managed by the county council.

Local councillors are there to represent your interests, and voting helps make sure that the people in charge really reflect what the community needs and wants. And of course, voting is a great way to get involved in making your area a better place.

Every vote counts, so make sure your voice is heard!

Never voted? Moved house recently or changed your name?

You'll need to register before 11 April. Register now: gov.uk/register to vote
