The Christmas 2025 programme will run from late November through to January and is designed to make the centre Witney’s go-to festive destination.

Marriotts Walk is set to transform into a magical festive destination this winter, as the shopping centre unveils its most ambitious Christmas programme to date including a four-day Christmas Market, family attractions, live entertainment and dazzling decorations designed to bring the community together and boost local trade.

Running from Thursday 27 – Sunday 30 November 2025, the Marriotts Walk Christmas Market will line the full length of the centre with up to 40 traditional chalet-style stalls, offering gifts, crafts, seasonal produce, independent traders and festive treats. The market has been strategically scheduled to complement Witney’s official Christmas Light Switch-On, taking place in the town centre on Friday 28 November at 7pm.

On Saturday 29 November, visitors can soak up the festive atmosphere while they shop, with LED stilt-walkers greeting shoppers and handing out sweet treats. Plus, you can enjoy live music from Witney Town Band, performing between 10.30am and 12.30pm to bring extra seasonal cheer to your shopping trip.

The Christmas 2025 programme at Marriotts Walk runs from late November through to January and is designed to make the centre Witney’s go-to festive destination. This year’s line-up brings together seasonal events and experiences that support local businesses, offer something for families to enjoy and create a warm, community-focused atmosphere.

Cllr Duncan Enright, Executive Member for Economic Development, said:
“Christmas at Marriotts Walk is all about celebrating community, supporting local businesses and creating magical moments for families. From the new wheelchair-accessible sleigh allowing inclusive festive photo opportunities for all visitors to creating magical snowfall moments, this year’s Christmas Market and festive programme promises to bring even more energy, joy and seasonal spirit to Witney.”

Marriotts Walk invites residents and visitors from across Oxfordshire to join in the celebrations and experience Christmas at the centre like never before.
