WODC has agreed a draft budget for 2026/27

West Oxfordshire District Council has agreed a draft budget for 2026/27 that focuses on investing in vital local services while keeping costs down for residents. The proposals include freezing garden waste charges, supporting people facing homelessness, protecting the district’s natural environment, strengthening communities and helping town centres thrive.

The draft budget also sets out plans to invest in new emergency housing, community programmes and projects to support local businesses, alongside a small £5 annual increase in District Council Tax for a Band D property to help protect services. The final budget will be considered by Full Council in February.
