Raising awareness of the work of the highways team
There is lots happening to raise awareness of the work of the highways team.
- Follow our new LinkedIn showcase page for regular updates on highways maintenance.
- Don't forget our place pages. These will continue to evolve but are designed to help residents understand what's going on in their area and how it contributes to the bigger picture for Oxfordshire.
- Take a look at our highways blogs and share links where you feel it might be useful
Potholes portal
Last week our teams repaired 1,855 potholes. With better weather, the overall backlog of repairs is now reducing, and we're seeing the number of outstanding defects down by 4% compared to last week. We're investing in preventative work to protect the road surfaces, and our annual surface dressing programme is now well underway. Please continue to report any issues that you see at:

Surface dressing
We're now updating the place pages with planned works in local areas and will be providing links to more immediate works on the
surface dressing page on our website.
