Weather warnings postpone village litterpick

Volunteers in Hi-vis vests clearing litter from the roadside

Unfortunately plans for the village litterpick on 2 November were abandoned at the last minute due to high winds and yellow weather warnings, meaning that nineteen keen volunteers were able to stay home to support the rugby. I will say no more about rugby...

Not to be deterred, volunteers will meet instead on Saturday, 9 November. We are sorry that some who were part of today's team are unable to make it next week but we look forward to attracting some new faces. Please make sure you sign up so that we are able to keep you posted on any last minute change of plans due to weather or other unforeseen events.
