Got a big idea that could change lives? We want to hear from you!

In April, Innovate Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire County Council’s in-house innovation service, proudly launched their Local Government Accelerator Programme. This is the first initiative of its kind in the UK, designed to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing local government today.

They’re now inviting inviting innovators, entrepreneurs, and solution-providers to get involved and help drive meaningful change.

Developed in close collaboration with adult social care teams, the programme is all about harnessing innovation to deliver real-world impact – starting right here in Oxfordshire!

The programme will bring together entrepreneurs, SMEs, and solution-providers to co-create and test ideas that could transform how the council delivers their services. The first focus area? Adult social care - a sector full of complexity, but also incredible opportunities.

If you know someone with a great idea, or just want to champion innovation in your own area, this is a moment to be proud of—and to get involved.

Let’s lead the way in shaping the future of local government – together!
