Cottsway Housing Association is marking its 25th anniversary by adding an extra £25,000 to its Community Fund, bringing this year’s total to £55,000.
The fund helps local charities, voluntary groups, and residents bring projects to life, with grants of up to £5,000. Cottsway customers can also apply for up to £250 to support learning, training, or qualifications, helping people build skills and boost job prospects.
Richard Reynolds, Chief Executive at Cottsway, said: "It’s great that we can mark our silver anniversary with a boost to our Community Fund. This year we’ll be able to help even more people bring their ideas to life and make a real difference in their neighbourhood. We look forward to receiving applications – whether from customers working to improve their own prospects or local groups or charities, helping to build a stronger community."
From sports clubs and youth adventure activities to family wellbeing sessions, school uniform projects, lunch clubs for older residents, community festivals, hall upgrades, and skills programmes for people with learning disabilities, the Community Fund has recently made a tangible difference for people of all ages.
Funding is available for community events, local projects, training, environmental initiatives, and more. Projects should encourage local engagement, tackle isolation, support learning, reduce poverty, or improve digital access.
Cottsway customers are encouraged to have their say by voting on Community Fund applications and funding amounts via social media.
