CAPZero's first year continues to build local momentum

The innovative CAPZero project led by the Low Carbon Hub has completed it's first year of activities. The focus for year one has been to get a secure and effective governance structure in place, with the first working groups up and running.

Highlights of year one include:


  • The formation of two new local community groups, Freeland Energy Group and Go Green Hanborough.
  • A programme of community events culminating in the Big Home Energy Day.
  • The completion of 5 part-funded Whole House Plans.
  • Bi-monthly newsletter and interviews on local radio.
  • Workshops delivered at WODC events.
