Reminder: Annual Parish Meeting is Thursday 19th June

A reminder that on Thursday 19th June there will be the Annual meeting of the Parish of Ducklington. This meeting is organised by the Parish Council but is not a council meeting. It is a chance for the parish to get together, hear about local issues and initiatives and raise any points or concerns.

This year we have representatives from:

  • The RAF – to talk about Brize Norton, the aircraft and developments
  • Thames Valley Police – to talk about policing in the parish, past incidents and current problems
  • Smiths of Bletchington – to talk about the planning permission to extend the gravel working at the Gill Mill site (at the south and east of the parish)
  • The Lower Windrush Valley Project – to talk about the project, the river valley and the ecology. If you are interested in the local wildlife this is a good chance to meet the project officer

Our District Councillor will be in attendance as will representatives from other parish organistations.

There will also be a presentation from the Parish Council on the work it has done on your behalf during the last year.

Refreshments will be served, please do come and get involved!
