The Ordnance Survey are showcasing how Ducklington Parish Council uses Ordnance Survey Mapping on the website.
OS Maps are a household name and easily recognisable. This is why they are so good to use to illustrate public information and local issues.
The Ordnance Survey is trying to encourage Town and Parish Councils to use OS mapping which is now freely available to local government under the Public Sector Mapping Agreement.
As well as using OS Maps on the website the Parish Council is now also using OS Mapping in the office as well. This allows us to pinpoint work orders and issues on the most up-to-date mapping.
