The benches at Bartholomew Close open space which were sadly maliciously damaged at the beginning of July are to be repaired and re-installed during the start of August. The Council is grateful to local firm Wesley Barrell for offering to repair the benches so speedily.
Wesley Barrell made the benches at their Ducklington factory and donated them to the Parish several years ago and were pleased to help the parish again.
The benches have now been removed, repaired and are waiting re-installation in time for residents and visitors to enjoy during the summer holidays.
If anyone has any knowledge of how the benches became damaged please use the contact us page to get in touch or use the anonymous Crimestoppers service and please be vigilant and report any damage to local amenities.
