Oxfordshire Cotswolds

Photographers are being invited to enter their images of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds into a competition spotlighting the area as a ‘must see’ destination for visitors.

West Oxfordshire District Council is looking for photographs covering a wide range of subjects – anything from churches, villages and market towns, views, action shots, eating out and people simply enjoying what the Oxfordshire Cotswolds has to offer.

Amateur photographers, camera club members and professionals alike are invited to submit images that capture the uniqueness of this area of outstanding natural beauty.

All images must be of sufficient quality to allow enlargements to A4 size, as they will be used to help promote the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, which is the branding used by West Oxfordshire District Council to market the area.

The winner will get a beautiful ready-to-hang art canvas print of their image reproduced using high quality inks by Witney company Blueprint Imaging Limited www.blueprintimaging.com

Some of the best images will also be used in the council’s tourism marketing publications and on its website www.oxfordshirecotswolds.org

“West Oxfordshire is a beautiful part of England and we hope to have some striking images that will help to promote the area and encourage tourism. We are very grateful to Blueprint imaging for donating a prize.” : Cllr Richard Langridge, Cabinet Member for Local Economy and Communities
