The County Council are preparing the Minerals and Waste Core Strategy. This will provide the planning strategies and policies for minerals and waste development in Oxfordshire up to 2030.
They will be consulting on Draft Minerals and Waste Planning Strategies in the form of two separate consultation documents. The consultation on both of these draft plans will begin on 5th September 2011 and will close on 31st October 2011.
The draft plans will be available from 5September 2011 for viewing and downloading from a link to the council’s website at
A number of background documents which have informed the plans will also be available on the consultation home pages. Comments are invited on these as well as on the draft plans.
Printed copies of the draft plans will be available in all libraries in the county. The plans will also be available at the District and City Council offices, as well as at County Hall and Speedwell House in Oxford. Printed copies of the response form will also be available in these locations.
